|
Philipp Heim received the Diploma degree in computer science (computational visualistics) from the University of Koblenz-Landau in 2007. He wrote his diploma thesis in the department of Intelligent User Interfaces at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) about the interactive visualization of semantic data on mobile devices. After this, he was employed as a Research Associate in the Interactive Systems Group at the University Duisburg-Essen for two years. Within the BMBF-Project Softwiki he developed interactive tools to support the requirement engineering process in large and distributed groups of stakeholders via Semantic Web technologies. Currently, he is pursuing a doctoral degree at VIS, where he is also employed as a teaching assistant. His current research interests focus on interactive systems for the generation of semantic queries and the visualization of relationships in large semantic datasets.
